America Prepares For A Trump-Biden Rematch
Take a Poll: Click Here
Former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden won enough delegates in March to ensure a rematch between the two men in the 2024 presidential election.
The wins for both leaders were easy, as Republicans overwhelmingly supported Trump from the moment he announced his reelection campaign. Biden and the DNC refused to let anyone seriously compete with the president for the party’s nomination, despite repeated calls from voters to do so. As a result of Biden’s refusal to debate or engage with any other candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., he became the party’s default contender.
“Now we have to get back to work because we have the worst president in the history of our country,” Trump told followers after his win. “So, we’re not going to take time to celebrate. We’ll celebrate in eight months when the election is over.” (LEARN MORE: Explosive Device Discovered At Border As Senator Issues Serious Warning)
What Did Both Men Say Of The Situation?
“It is my great honor to be representing the Republican Party as its presidential nominee,” the former president wrote to followers. “Our party is united and strong and fully understands that we are running against the worst, most incompetent, corrupt, and destructive president in the history of the United States. Millions of people are invading our Country, many from prisons and mental institutions of other countries. High-interest rates and inflation are choking our great middle class, and all our economy is bad, and our stock market is rising only because polls are strongly indicating that we will win the presidential election of 2024.” (LEARN MORE: Voters Lose Confidence In Biden Over Soaring Consumer Prices)
Biden said that Trump “is running a campaign of resentment, revenge, and retribution that threatens the very idea of America. I am honored that the broad coalition of voters representing the rich diversity of the Democratic Party across the country have put their faith in me once again to lead our party — and our country — in a moment when the threat Trump poses is greater than ever.” Biden did not expand on what he meant by “threat.”
