Chinese Espionage Surges Under Biden-Harris Administration

The House Committee on Homeland Security (CHS) released a “China Threat Snapshot” assessment Thursday (Oct .17), revealing that illicit activities linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have skyrocketed under the Biden-Harris administration.

Between Feb. 2021 and Aug. 2024, there were more than 55 CCP-related espionage cases across 20 different states, some of which included the transfer of sensitive military data, according to CHS and a report from the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF). Bribery, hacking, and theft of trade secrets have were also uncovered, revealing how the CPP’s activities in the U.S. have “expanded rapidly” under the Biden-Harris administration.

“About 80% of economic espionage prosecutions allege conduct that would benefit the Chinese state, and there is at least some nexus to China in around 60% of all trade secret theft cases,” the report notes. (JOIN THE REVIVAL: Christians Called To Shine ‘Light’ On ‘Dark Institutions’)

“The Biden-Harris administration has overseen the largest influx of Chinese nationals illegally crossing the Southwest border,” CHS wrote in a statement. “In FY24 alone, Border Patrol agents have recorded more than 36,000 apprehensions of Chinese nationals — more than all those recorded from FY07-20 combined.”
