Critics Quickly Jump On Kamala’s Anti-Faith VP Pick

A report published in August detailed how Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has been sued multiple times over his alleged infringement upon religious liberties.

Walz apparently has a reputation for placing stricter requirements on churches than businesses, stripped faith-based schools of various funding programs (including those for college credits), and for a slew of other behaviors that seem patently anti-Christian, according to the Daily Caller. Walz settled at least one case in May 2021.

“As a Catholic, I cannot but see his abortion and transgender extremism, as well as his pushing of divisive cultural policies in schools, as extremely destructive to the common good in Minnesota,” theologian David Deavel said of Walz, touching upon his extremely pro-transgender policies and pro-abortion stance. Walz made Minnesota a Sanctuary State for people with mental health issues related to their gender and sexual ideologies, according to the National Review. “The law makes seeking gender-transition procedures for minors a factor in some assessments for whether a Minnesota court has jurisdiction to make an initial determination in child custody cases,” essentially legalizing the state to remove mentally ill children from their parents and conduct irreversible gender mutilation upon them.

‘Challenge’

“It’s a challenge living in Minnesota with the way things are under his leadership,” said one city councilman and small business owner. Walz’s “pervasive” cultural values like abortion, cannabis legalization, transgender rights, and others are “in your face” if you live under his leadership.

“Walz’s Minnesota has become an oasis for left-wing radicals, pro-abortion Democrats, criminals, and illegal immigrants, while hard-working Americans and faithful Christians have been hung out to dry,” said Faith & Freedom Coalition executive director Timothy Head said in a statement on Walz. “As Governor, he enshrined abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, enacted the ‘Trans Refuge’ bill to criminalize therapy for same-sex attracted individuals and promote access to sex-change surgeries and cross-sex hormone treatments for minors, even inviting a 12-year-old ‘transgender’ child to be present at the bill signing.”
