In 2020, Voters in California will elect 53 candidates to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from each of the state’s 53 congressional districts. There will be a special election to fill the seat of Katie Hill (D) representing California’s 25th Congressional District.  In addition, voters will also be selecting candidates for the California State Senate and California State Assembly, California State Legislature. California held their primary election March 3rd. 

Important dates to remember:

  • November 3, 2020: General Election 
    • October 20: Voter registration deadline
    • **Early voting dates vary by locality (see your local election office)

Online voter registration is permitted in California.  Voters can also submit a paper registration form in person or by mail to the Division of Elections Office or a voter registration agency. Your vote is valuable to the state and makes a difference!
