Oklahoma

In 2020, voters in Oklahoma will elect one member to the U.S. Senate and five candidates to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from each of the state’s five congressional districts. Voters will be selecting candidates for the Oklahoma State Senate and Oklahoma State House of Representatives.  In addition, four Oklahoma Supreme Court seats, one Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals seat, four Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals Justices are up for retention election in 2020. Oklahoma held their presidential primary election March 3rd.

Important dates to remember:

  • June 30, 2020: State Primary Election
      • June 5: Voter registration deadline
      • June 25 – 27: Early voting 
  • August 25, 2020: State Primary Runoff Election
      • July 31: Voter registration deadline
      • August 20 – 22: Early voting 
  • November 3, 2020: General Election 
    • October 9: Voter registration deadline
    • October 29 – 31: Early voting 

Oklahoma does not currently allow online voter registration. To register, voters can submit a paper registration form by mail to the voter registrar in their county of residence. Your vote is valuable to the state and makes a difference!
