In 2020, voters in West Virginia will elect one member to the U.S. Senate and three candidates to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives from each of the state’s three congressional districts. Voters will be selecting candidates for the West Virginia State Senate, West Virginia State House of Representatives, governor, attorney general and secretary of state. Three West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Justices are up for nonpartisan election in 2020. **The West Virginia primary election has been moved to June 9, due to the COVID-19 situation.

Online voter registration is permitted in West Virginia. Voters can also submit a paper registration form in person or by mail to the voter registrar in their county of residence.
