Explosive Device Discovered At Border As Senator Issues Serious Warning

Border Patrol agents found an improvised explosive device (IED) along the U.S. border with Mexico in September, after finding another at a port of entry in May.

The September device was uncovered in Texas, while the other was found at a port of entry in Arizona, according to the Washington Stand. These horrific discoveries come as agents also encountered at least 736 individuals on a U.S. terror watch list trying to enter the country throughout 2023.

“What’s coming across the southern border is not just Central Americans, Mexicans, South Americans. It is individuals from states that are bases for known terrorist entities, like Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, [and] Lebanon. The San Diego Border Patrol issued a warning bulletin about a week and a half ago, and it said, we need to be on the watch for Hamas terrorists coming across the southern border,” Republican Montana Sen. Steve Daines told Tony Perkins on “Washington Watch” on Thursday.

Attack From Within?

“We should be prepared that they could attack us from within,” Daines warned at a press conference at an earlier date.

“I’m very worried” that the “horrible attacks from Hamas will inspire lone wolves in our country — like we saw happen in Belgium when those two Swedes lost their lives, murdered by an Islamic terrorist,” Daines continued to Perkins. “It also could release terrorist cells that are going to have premeditated attacks here.”
