Former Biden Staffer Claims She Didn’t Notice His Issues
Former White House press secretary for the Biden administration Jen Psaki seemed to admit Friday that the first time she noticed something was wrong with President Joe Biden was during the June debate.
“Well, watching it, my first reaction was not, ‘Oh my gosh, Trump is going to win the election.’ That was not my reaction. I care about him as a human being. And my first reaction was, I do care about him a lot, was like, ‘Is he OK?” Psaki told Texas Tribune festival, according to Fox. Though Biden’s mental decline was very clear for most people to see well before the June debate against former President Donald Trump, Psaki appears to have not noticed these issues.
“Honestly, it was like, ‘Is he OK? And I don’t say that because I was feeling like I was going to go on Twitter and be alarmist, but I care for him as a person,” she added, “I was worried about him as a person.” (LEARN MORE: Biden Ignores Christian Massacres For 3rd Year In A Row)
Heartbreaking
“The summer, I think, was heartbreaking and difficult for so many people. People who loved him, people who were fearful of Trump winning, people who loved Harris, people with all sorts of emotions within this country,” Psaki continued, adding that the entire process was an “incredibly difficult roller coaster” for Americans — though it’s unclear whether she’s referring to Biden’s health or the myriad other issues actually directly impacting Americans, like grocery prices, open borders, and others. “And as much as I was on television talking about this, I experienced that too, as a human being,” Psaki noted. Biden’s cognitive decline was in question many months prior to his debate against Trump. How Psaki failed to notice Biden’s decline, despite proclaiming to have covered his presidency for her MSNBC show, also remains unclear at this time.
