Kamala’s Conflicting Opinions. Who Is She?
Aside from not having taken part in a single interview since announcing that she is essentially the Democratic nominee for president, Vice President Kamala Harris, her policies, her platform, and what she wants for the future of America are basically unknown, multiple reports and sources have said in recent weeks.
But part of this confusion is because Harris has so many conflicting opinions. While some of her opinions seem to be natural evolutions of mindset, none of them seem to trend toward what the American people want from a future presidency. (LEARN MORE: How To Protect Your Local Elections Today)
Immigration
“I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border, do not come. Do not come,” Harris told illegal immigrants in 2021, according to the New York Post. But an estimated 10 million or more have walked over the U.S. borders with Mexico and Canada, essentially unmitigated under both President Joe Biden and Harris’ leadership.
“The United States will continue to enforce our laws and secure our border,” Harris said at the time, but then did not do anything to enforce our laws and secure the border. (LEARN MORE: Christians Called To Shine ‘Light’ On ‘Dark Institutions’)
But did you know that Harris said in 2019 that “being an undocumented immigrant is not a crime,” even though it is literally a crime to enter the country illegally? What made Harris change her mind in such a short amount of time? We’re not sure. And we’re sure that Harris doesn’t know why she changed her mind this much either.
Fracking
In July 2024, footage of Harris speaking at a CNN town hall revealed that she fully plans to ban fracking, despite the cost of oil skyrocketing as the threat of war continues through the Middle East. Harris also said she is fully committed to a Green New Deal, which creates a number of undiscussed “clean jobs” and puts an end to fracking. A report from Fox in early August then revealed the Harris campaign suddenly no longer supports a ban on fracking. “Trump’s false claims about fracking bans are an obvious attempt to distract from his own plans to enrich oil and gas executives at the expense of the middle class,” a spokesperson for the Harris campaign told the outlet, without explaining how or why this sudden shift occurred.
“This Administration created 300,000 energy jobs, while Trump lost nearly a million and his Project 2025 would undo the enormous progress we’ve made the past four years,” the spokesperson added, again, not telling voters a single thing about Harris other than she’s changed her mind on fracking. What Else Has Kamala Flipped On?
Data compiled by the Republican National Committee found that Harris has flip-flopped on almost all major policies and platforms and problems facing the America people, begging the question: does she want to do this job because she has a vision, or because she wants the title of president?
Along with fracking and immigration, the RNC found that Harris has flipped on — it should be noted that every single data point is supported with multiple pieces of direct verbal evidence from Harris herself:
- Single-payer healthcare – she was once vehemently in support of the program, vowing to use it to “solve” healthcare in America; now she doesn’t want it
- Defunding the police – Harris was a vocal supporter of this movement, but she flipped on it ahead now she’s running for president
- Green New Deal – as mentioned, Harris has always said she supports this program; since launching her campaign, she changed her mind
The RNC called Kamala a “political chameleon” who is more than capable of camouflaging herself to try and fit in with whomever she is around. Is that who you’d trust with your future? (LEARN MORE: DMV Loophole Could Cause Millions Of Illegal Votes)
