‘No More Hope’: Immigration Crisis Calms Amid Trump Crackdown

A report published Sunday by The Post Millennial detailed how would-be illegal and some legal immigrants to the U.S. are avoiding coming to the U.S. as a result of President Donald Trump’s crackdown.

“There’s no more hope for entering legally as long as Donald Trump is there,” wannabe immigrant Yorman Briceno told the Wall Street Journal, “and anyone telling you otherwise is lying.” (NOTE TO READERS: this article was written by a legal immigrant who can confirm that Briceno’s comments are absolutely false and anyone can become a legal immigrant so long as they follow the rules). The sudden stop in the mass movement of people through the northern and southern borders comes after four years of at least two million people walking into the country (on average, per year). Under the leadership of former President Joe Biden, some months saw upwards of 250,000 people entering illegally.

Latest Numbers

When broken down by numbers, illegal immigration under the Trump administration (as of March) is 95% lower than a year prior, under the Biden administration, and a 96% decrease since 2023, and 97% since 2022, according to The White House.
