Representative [Name],
As a voter in your district, I am writing to express my strong support for preserving parental rights, particularly in educational freedom and medical decision-making.
Parents, not the government, should have the ultimate authority to make decisions about their children’s education. This includes choosing between public, private, charter, or homeschool options that best meet the needs and values of their families. Any efforts to restrict these choices or impose one-size-fits-all policies infringe upon fundamental rights and religious freedom.
Furthermore, parents should have access to and input on school curriculums. The education system should be a partnership between schools and families, with transparency and communication to ensure the curriculum aligns with community values and respects parental rights, especially on sensitive issues.
Finally, I believe that parents must retain the right to make medical decisions for their children without government interference. From vaccinations to treatment options, parents know their children best and should have the autonomy to make informed choices in their child’s best interest.
I urge you to take a stand for parental rights and ensure parents can make decisions regarding their children’s education and health. These rights are essential to our democracy and the well-being of future generations.
Thank you for your service to the people of this district and state. I am praying for you and your leadership. I look forward to your response so I can share your ideas with those in my circle.
Sincerely,
