TikTok’s Pro-ICE Riots, ‘No Kings Day’ Influencer Campaigns Scream Psychological Operation; Don’t Fall For It

A countless number of videos shared on social media in June reveal what appears to be a coordinated disinformation campaign centered on the ICE riots taking place across America’s cities.

“There appears to be a coordinated messaging campaign spreading throughout TikTok where large creators have released nearly identical statements on the ICE raids,” wrote Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg on X (June 11). “Many large creators are releasing extremely similar statements where they shame other creators for not “speaking out” against the raids.”

Upon reviewing the material shared by Rugg and a number of other creators, Million Voices is inclined to agree with their assessment: these users are not authentic, and many may actually be generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

Million Voices has been warning readers for years that TikTok is yet another form of stealth warfare from China. The app gathers your data through total infiltration of your devices. It is also used to launch mass disinformation campaigns, similar to those hosted on Twitter before Elon Musk’s purchase prior to the 2024 presidential election. While Million Voices cannot officially confirm whether the videos in these posts are real, highly verified sources suggest that a majority are paid for or generated by nefarious actors.

Even CNN admits that social media algorithms are working to boost misinformation in what they described as a “combustible environment,” noting there are already proven instances of AI-generated content.

“The powerful algorithms that fuel social media platforms are feeding users days-old and sometimes completely fake content about the recent unrest in L.A., contributing to a sense of nonstop crisis that doesn’t exist beyond a small part of the sprawling city,” the outlet wrote, seeming to side with the misinformation claiming that these are “mostly peaceful” protests.
