Trusting the Process God’s Timing and Design
God has a unique and special plan for each of our lives, yet it’s not uncommon for us to have doubts and lose confidence during challenging circumstances. It may feel as though our hardships are obstacles to God’s plan. But through faith, our confidence can be restored, understanding that God’s plan, which is both purposeful and unshakeable, is designed for our good.
Resting confidently in God’s plan for our lives becomes possible when we are reminded and convinced of a few fundamental truths. First, the plan God has for us has already been finished. It is not being written as we journey through life and, therefore, cannot be ruined by circumstances that may cause us hesitation or worry. Second, God’s plan is reliable, and we can trust that He will accomplish His purpose within our lives. Finally, we can be assured that God lovingly has our best interest in mind and will carry us through different seasons of life.
Call to Action
Remain fully convinced of God’s plan for your life and walk confidently, knowing His plans are perfect and will not fail. You are fully known and loved by God, and His plans for you are lovingly laid out before you. Allow your confidence in Him to strengthen your peace as you walk through what life has to offer today.
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).
“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands” (Psalm 138:8).
“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Psalm 37:3-4).
Prayer
Dear God, we know you love us and have a special purpose for each one of us. Thank you for walking with us daily and preparing a unique plan for each of us. Help us remain confident in Your plan and not become discouraged by our circumstances as we go throughout our day. Amen.
