Pastor Greg Laurie Speaks Of Biblical Prophecy Fulfillment Over Israel-Hamas War

Pastor Greg Laurie of the Harvest Christian Fellowship delivered a sermon on October 8 that suggested events predicted in Scripture are coming to pass.

Laurie noted these attacks come almost exactly 50 years to the day of the Tom Kippur War when multiple nations attacked (Egypt, Syria, and more). But this war is very different, Laurie continued.

“Thousands of rockets rained on Israel from multiple directions, and Hamas gunmen invaded by land, sea and sky,” he said. ” … They went literally home to home and door to door, looking for the young and for the elderly.”

“Interesting how it always comes back to Jerusalem. The Bible predicted, thousands of years ago, that the End Time events would revolve around Jerusalem,” he said. “Not San Francisco. Not Los Angeles. Not Moscow. Not Paris. But Jerusalem, this tiny little city, in this tiny sliver of land, will play a key role in the events of the last days. It’s the focal point of End Times events.”

He quoted Zechariah 12:3 in relation to how God would use Jerusalem to bring his judgement to the world: “On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves.”

Laurie conceded it is currently unclear how the conflict will progress toward the end of his sermon. But if we wake up and read Russia has attacked Israel, we should “fasten our seatbelt” because we’ll be “seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled in your lifetime, in real-time before your very eyes.”
