State Takes Drastic Step Against Trans Movement
The state of New Hampshire banned body mutilation surgeries on minors and boys from girls’ sports in July.
The northeastern state is the latest place, along with more than half of the U.S., to ban experimental gender mutilation procedures against children, according to The Christian Post. The law passed Monday and was signed by the state’s Republican Gov. Chris Sununu.
Other states that have banned the procedures include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming. How Did People Vote?
Lawmakers basically voted down party lines, with most Democrats wanting doctors to support the irreversible mutilation of children’s sexual and reproductive organs. However, 14 Democrats strayed from their pack, as did 3 Republicans who opposed the ban.
Though the law does protect children from surgeries, it does not ban puberty blockers, hormones, and other types of medications foisted on children suffering with mental health issues. (LEARN MORE: Christian Leaders React To Trump Assassination Attempt)
Boys In Girls Sports
Another big win for the people of New Hampshire came in the banning of boys from girl’s sports. “The vast majority of Granite Staters share in this approach — because it is fair, balanced, and void of political considerations. By enacting these measures, we continue to uphold the principles of safety, fairness, and common sense for all our citizens,” Sununu said of the laws.
Other states that have banned boys from competing in girls sports include Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming.
