Baltimore Sex Ed Program Refers Kids To Abortion Clinics

A report published Monday (Oct. 14) by Fox45’s Patrick Hauf detailed how a Baltimore City sex education program is referring minors to abortion clinics and surgeries said to perform so-called “transgender” procedures.

Baltimore’s U Choose program apparently partners with various government agencies and local organizations in the hopes of ” drastically reducing teen birth and STI rates” through “youth-friendly reproductive services.” Said partners include Baltimore City Public Schools and Planned Parenthood. U Choose refers children (minors) experiencing unplanned pregnancies to the Maryland Planned Parenthood. Children experiencing mental health issues related to their gender are referred to a clinic that provides puberty blockers, and hormones. Both clinics also support children in getting irreversible surgeries to their bodies under the guise of so-called “transgender” care.

It is unclear if the program offers children alternatives to ending the lives of their unborn children, or receiving mental health care instead of medical interventions.

What Is The Law?

Maryland law dictates that parents must be informed if their children is to receive an abortion, but the child does not need parental consent to end the life of their unborn child, the outlet noted.
