Answer the Call: Embrace Jesus, Embrace Peace
The profound, age-old adage, “No Jesus, no peace—Know Jesus, know peace,” rings true, especially in the face of escalating global violence. In the absence of Jesus, discord prevails, whether among countries, religions, or individuals. Romans 5:1, as told by Paul, states, “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” There is no peace apart from the Prince of Peace.
Despite our longing for global peace, it remains unattainable without Jesus. Peace extends far beyond the absence of war. “Peace treaties” are merely fleeting solutions to deep-rooted spiritual problems. Financial success, the “perfect” job, family, or education cannot provide inner peace. As long as the world and we, as individuals, fail to embrace Jesus, turmoil will persist. God doesn’t desire suffering, and history has shown that humans alone cannot navigate the path to peace. God sacrificed His son, Jesus, on the cross, offering salvation to all, long-lasting peace, and eternal life. It falls on us to accept this gift and share God’s love with a lost world.
Your Call to Action
If the shackles of discord and turmoil bind you, look to Jesus. Peace begins with YOU, with your acceptance of Him. He will bring your soul eternal peace and salvation. Share this divine love, this extraordinary gift of peace, with the world around you. Answer the call now, for a life of peace awaits you.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all” (1 Thessalonians 3:16).
Prayer
Dear Jesus, we cherish Your gift to us in our hearts. If anything stands in the way of our relationship with You, open our eyes and remove it in Your name. We accept You, love You, and want the peace only You can give us. Help us to share this truth with those around us so they, too, can have eternal peace in You. In Your name, we pray, Amen.
A Comforting Closure
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Romans 15:13).
