Antifa Activist Faces Charges for Threats to ICE

Federal authorities have arrested a Minneapolis activist on charges of threatening to kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Kyle Wagner, 37, was taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations agents on Thursday. The arrest is a significant development in what the Trump administration describes as a major effort to address threats against federal law enforcement.

Wagner faces charges of cyberstalking and making threats in federal district court in Minnesota. His arrest follows a series of online posts and videos where he allegedly encouraged violence against immigration officers. The Justice Department stated that Wagner’s actions crossed the line from protected speech into dangerous incitement.

Prosecutors allege that Wagner used his social media presence to call his followers to action against federal agents. He reportedly referred to the officers as “Gestapo” and “murderers” in his posts. The charges specifically cite messages where he urged people to get “guns” and use them to stop the agents.

Wagner often began his videos by stating, “I’m antifa,” and had a “Three Arrows” tattoo on his neck, which is a known antifascist symbol. His social media accounts, which had tens of thousands of followers, have since been deleted.

Before his accounts were removed, Wagner used platforms like Instagram to build his following. He described himself as a “master-hate-baiter” and used his profile to solicit donations for his activities. These actions highlight a disturbing trend of using online platforms to promote hostility and violence.

Call for Armed Confrontation

The activist’s calls for violence grew louder following two recent fatal encounters between civilians and federal immigration agents in Minneapolis. These incidents created a volatile atmosphere, which Wagner allegedly exploited to encourage armed confrontation. His messages moved beyond simple protest and into direct calls for violent conflict.

In one post, Wagner declared that Minnesota is “where ICE has come to die.” He then made direct threats against the agents, stating a desire to identify each one and “prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.” He added, “If it has to be done at the barrel of a gun, then let us have a little [expletive] fun.”

The criminal complaint also accuses Wagner of doxxing, which is the act of publishing someone’s private information online without their permission. He allegedly posted the personal details of an ICE supporter in Michigan, including a phone number and address, along with threatening messages. This dangerous tactic puts individuals and their families at risk, and it cannot be tolerated in a just society.

Attorney General Pam Bondi commented on the arrest, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to protecting law enforcement. She stated that Wagner “allegedly doxxed and called for the murder of law enforcement officers” and “proudly claimed affiliation with the terrorist organization antifa.” Her words send a clear message: threats against those who serve and protect will be met with the full force of the law.

The arrest is part of Operation Metro Surge, an initiative by the Trump administration to increase immigration enforcement in Minnesota. The operation involves thousands of agents deployed to the Minneapolis area. Citizens must stand for the rule of law and the safety of our communities, ensuring that those who incite violence are held accountable.

Wagner’s online rants became increasingly alarming as he urged followers to prepare for a “guerrilla war in our streets.” He told people to “show up, fully prepared, whatever that means to you,” after claiming federal agents were using “live ammunition to kill our citizens.” Such rhetoric is designed to sow fear and division, turning neighbors against each other.

In one video, Wagner, who cannot legally own a firearm, wore a tactical vest and admitted he expected to be shot for his activism.
