Biden’s Proposed SCOTUS Changes ‘Unconstitutional’

A report published Friday detailed how President Joe Biden’s plans to change to the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) are “unconstitutional,” “absurd” and “dangerous.”

The changes proposed by Biden reportedly include term limits, and enforcement of a “code of ethics,” allegedly as an attempt to brand SCOTUS as “dangerous” and “out of control,” according to the Washington Stand. “First, they propose they wanted to expand the number of justices when things don’t go their way. Then they wanted to impeach a couple of them. Now he wants term limits. It’s absurd,” Speaker of the House Mike Johnson told Fox about the reported proposal.

‘Radical’

CEO of the First Liberty Institute Kelly Shackelford told “Washington Watch” that Biden’s plan is a “radical attempt by a desperate politician,” a “horrible political move,” that is “unconstitutional” as it would essentially remove many of the conservative justices from their position and hand control of the court to almost entirely liberal mindsets.

“[J]ust like the court can’t tell the Congress how to do their internal affairs, the Congress has no authority without a constitutional amendment telling Supreme Court justices how to do their job as justices. This is a massive attack on the separation of powers [and] the independence of the judiciary,” Shackelford added.
