‘Bombshell List’ Of USAID Spending Exposes Jaw-Dropping Reality Of Where Your Tax Dollars Were Sent

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed in early February, a detailed list of some of USAID’s most surprising expenditures to-date. Some of these may shock you.
The information provided by the White House details a large number of LGBT programs launched around the world, many reportedly during the Biden administration, according to Fox News. Many of the programs listed by the White House were reported on by other outlets. USAID’s future remains unclear at the time of writing, though the doors to its headquarters were closed as of Monday, January 3.
“For decades, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been unaccountable to taxpayers as it funnels massive sums of money to the ridiculous — and, in many cases, malicious — pet projects of entrenched bureaucrats, with next-to-no oversight,” the White House wrote in their Feb. 3rd fact sheet entitled “At USAID, Waste and Abuse Runs Deep.” The list was described as a “bombshell” by Joe Pags Staff. The List Shared by The White House
- $1.5 million to “advance diversity equity and inclusion in Serbia’s workplaces and business communities”
- $70,000 for production of a “DEI musical” in Ireland
- $2.5 million for electric vehicles for Vietnam
- $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia
- $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru
- $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala
- $6 million to fund tourism in Egypt
- Hundreds of thousands of dollars for a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations — even AFTER an inspector general launched an investigation
- Millions to EcoHealth Alliance — which was involved in research at the Wuhan lab
- “Hundreds of thousands of meals that went to al Qaeda-affiliated fighters in Syria”
- Funding to print “personalized” contraceptives birth control devices in developing countries
- Hundreds of millions of dollars to fund “irrigation canals, farming equipment, and even fertilizer used to support the unprecedented poppy cultivation and heroin production in Afghanistan,” benefiting the Taliban
Million Voices did not independently verify the data provided by the Trump administration.
“The goal was to reform it, but now we have rank insubordination,” said Sec. of State Marco Rubio of the future of USAID. “Now we have basically an active effort — their basic attitude is, ‘We don’t work for anyone. We work for ourselves. No agency of government can tell us what to do.’”
What Are People Saying?
“Why were taxpayers ever okay with paying for these things in the first place,” asked one X user under a video of Leavitt discussing the spending. “There is so much spending that most didn’t even realize where it was going. That’s how these crooks want it. So much spending in so many different areas to cause confusion so people don’t even realize what’s going on,” replied Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg.
Other users, though stunned at where their tax dollars were going, appeared either relieved to finally put an end to the spending, or appeared angry that it happened at all.
Mainstream news media outlets, such as the BBC, put out multiple articles, many seeming to fall in defense of USAID. The BBC also released a statement clarifying that the BBC Media Action team receives USAID funding. Politico published a number of similar articles, also seeming to come in defense of USAID.
