"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope" (Romans 15:13).
“But You, O Lord, are a shield around me; You are my glory, the One Who holds my head high” (Psalm 3:3).
One of the most challenging roles a person can assume is that of a caregiver. A shift in circumstances where aging parents become dependent; when day and night attention is required for a special needs child, or an unexpected injury or health crisis of another imposes situational oversight or care. Making difficult decisions for loved ones while lending to their physical, emotional, and/or financial support is understandably, mentally, emotionally, and financially draining to the caregiver.
Balancing caretaking responsibilities may seem impossible, especially when caught off guard or when feeling inadequate for the task. Juggling these, with your own family and work obligations can lead to personal needs getting overlooked. Yet, with God, in every situation, there IS hope and help; He sees and hears you, and is ultimately, your closest friend! Lean into Him when you’re worried or frustrated, and He will give you peace and soul rest. God will never require of us what He does not equip us for…one day at a time! “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9).

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:8).
Prayer: Father God, thank You, that no matter what my situation, You are with me and will never abandon me! Fill me with Your strength, hope, and wisdom. Help me to remember that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In Your name, I pray, Amen!
