Conservatives are cautioning that the open southern border under President Biden’s administration leaves the U.S. unduly vulnerable to terrorism. Senator Rick Scott has voiced concerns over the threat of attacks similar to Hamas’s recent assault on Israel, with the open border contributing to issues such as the rise in fentanyl overdose deaths.
