“My grace is all you need, for My power is the greatest when you are weak” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

God’s Word is powerfully reliable when our unstable emotions are high. Whatever the cause—a relationship breakup, the loss of a job, a death in the family, depression, or anxiety—His Word offers us hope in the face of what can overwhelm us. If it feels like you’re in a boat, alone in the middle of an endless sea, God is with you at the helm, wanting to steer you to safety. He cares for you, forgives you, and your prayers matter to Him— His grace is sufficient!

Where God is, there is power, and that power lives in us through His gift of the Holy Spirit. If we lean into the strength of God by praying and reading His Word, we can gain control of our emotional well-being, filtering our thoughts and feelings through His perspectives and promises. Scripture will always be our guiding light and source of strength, bringing us closer to God and increasing our faith, especially in times of distress.
