DOUBLE WIN: Mike Huckabee Confirmed As US Ambassador To Israel; Huckabee Sanders Brings ‘Creator’ To Arkansas Classrooms!

Former National Honorary Chairman for My Faith Votes, a ministry of Million Voices, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was confirmed Wednesday to serve as the U.S. ambassador to Israel, just one day after his daughter, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, signed 28 bills into law for their state.

Huckabee was tapped to be ambassador to Israel by President Donald Trump shortly after the November 2024 presidential election, Politico noted. The former governor has visited the nation more than 100 times throughout his life, and understands the complex social landscape he’ll be living in. The Senate voted 53 to 46 late on Tuesday to advance the nomination, with the final confirmation vote tallying the same on Wednesday.

Big Moves In Arkansas
Just one day before Huckabee’s final confirmation, his daughter, Gov. Huckabee Sanders signed a total of 28 bills into law for the state of Arkansas, many of them focused on education and protecting the state from foreign adversaries, according to KATV. Foreign adversaries include China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Syria, and any foreign terrorist organization designated by the U.S. Secretary of State, the outlet noted. Higher education institutions who received contracts of $250,000 or more since 2019 must disclose information, and any future gifts have new stipulations.

Some of the biggest news from Huckabee Sanders was her signature on bills that mandate “the inclusion of information on the religious and moral beliefs of the founding fathers in social studies standards,” KATV reported. “This means that students from grades six through 12 will be taught without limitation: The identity of the ‘Creator’ as viewed by the founding fathers, and the religious and moral beliefs held by the founding fathers, whereby there is a ‘Creator,’ and that man is endowed by that ‘Creator’ with inalienable rights.”
Religion will also be taught to these same students as something that “can be directed by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and therefore, all men are equally entitled to the free exercise of religion, according to the dictates of conscience; and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity towards each other.”
