Jesus Paid it All: Living Free and Moving Forward
Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross redeemed us from our past mistakes and failures. They no longer have power over us. We can find freedom from guilt and shame by trusting in His forgiveness and moving forward. Because Christ is in us, we do not have to live defeated by the past or fearful of the future. We don’t have to look back and carry that heavy weight of sin! Jesus carried it for us and conquered the grip that death once held on us. On the cross, He became sin and gave Himself for us so we may be free.
We can walk with Jesus in confidence that our future is no longer uncertain. He is with us through every moment of our lives and leads us down the path He has carefully laid out for us. Allowing Christ to dwell in our hearts inspires us to become more like God and live as Jesus did. Others see the light of Christ shining through us when we allow Him to make His home in our hearts.
Your Call to Action
Jesus paid the ultimate price, giving us the chance to live freely as we follow His teachings. He wants to have fellowship with you and give you peace. Invite Him into your heart and allow His loving presence to transform you into the best version of yourself and share His light with others.
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:22-24),
We thank You, Jesus, for willingly dying so we can have new life. You set the ultimate example for us. We invite You to come live within our hearts and help us to become more like You each day. Forgive us of our sins and make us a new creation in You moving forward. Amen.
