Joe Rogan’s Trump Episode ‘Kills’ Legacy Media. You Agree?

Podcaster Joe Rogan published a 3-hour-long episode with former President Donald Trump, Friday, accruing more than 33,800,000 views by Monday morning (time of writing). This overwhelming response to the show has a large group of bipartisan commentators claiming that Rogan, along with many others, have officially destroyed legacy media.

“This was the final nail in the coffin for legacy media. It is over, all the lies, all the propaganda, it’s just done. No politician will ever be able to hide behind 5 minute news bites again from controlled news anchors again. It’s a great day to be alive,” wrote former Navy seal/CIA contractor Shawn Ryan. His comment received more than 10,000 retweets and 77,000 likes. “If you would have told me 20 years ago the most watched media in 2024 would be the former host of fear factor talking to people for 3 hours or a former Navy Seal’s podcast highlighting the real issues veterans face and what we have to do to get better, I would have said, “[EXPLETIVE], you’re crazy”. I’m loving this, no one wants to watch propaganda except the helplessly brain washed that like being part of the herd. Congrats and thanks,” said one user in the comments.
