Local-Level Officials Can Upend American Progress More Than Those At The Top

One of 2025’s most contentious political races is the mayoral campaign in New York City. Even if you’re living thousands of miles away, this race could still influence your day-to-day life in a fairly shocking way.
Billionaire Democrats like George and Alex Soros might be one of the top reasons states like California are collapsing under the weight of their social decline, but did you know that the Open Society Foundation, and plenty of other well-funded far-left-leaning nonprofits and organizations have a huge focus on local-level elections?
When most of us think of the ways the government can hurt us, we often look to the state and federal leaders we elect, like California’s Gavin Newsom, or New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, a “33-year-old socialist Muslim who wants to defund the police, globalize the intifada, and destroy capitalism,” according to Fox News op-ed contributor Asra Q. Nomani.
Dangers Of Electing People Who Don’t Align With American Values
America’s Founding Fathers quoted one source more than any other throughout their speeches, writings, musing and more: the Bible. Even though we’ve been indoctrinated over the last 50-or-so-years into thinking that America believes in the separation of church and state, this is a lie.
Our Founding Fathers absolutely built this nation on the backs of strong Christian values, and it has taken less than a generation to eradicate this knowledge from the population. This is what happens when we elect people who don’t care about America to run our government, from the local, all the way up to the federal offices of this nation. Even the most church-going, Bible-abiding Christians still think that our Founding Fathers wanted to separate the church from the state, and often feel awkward when faith comes into the public square. This saddens all of us who know the truth of our political history, which is why Million Voices, My Faith Votes, and so many other organizations and groups are working tirelessly to undo the manipulation of our past, particularly as we move into this next Great American Revival.
You Don’t Have To Be Christian To Understand True Western Values
The phrase “globalize the intifada” is a phrase used by modern-day anti-Zionist, antisemitic activists, but has historically been used to advocate for violence, particularly against Jewish communities and those associated with Israel, according to The Hill. Many, particularly the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, have asked Mamdani to stop comparing the use of the phrase “intifada” because it is deeply offensive to survivors of the Holocaust, especially as Mamdani is seen by many as being anti-Jewish.
The first intifada came between 1987 to 1993, and was characterized by protests, strikes, civil disobedience against Israel, and violent confrontations. The second came between 2000-2005, which included an “escalation of violence, including suicide bombings and other attacks,” Gemini wrote in summary. There are an estimated 900,000 – 1,000,000 Jews in NYC and roughly 750,000 Muslims. It is hard to believe that anyone living in the Western world, regardless of their religious background, would ever support something that seeks to destroy them. We are also just a couple of decades past the horrific events of 9/11, so picking a leader for NYC who maybe doesn’t realize how hurtful his campaign promises are seems quite shocking.
Choose Leaders Who Support America’s True Future
Over the course of the next three years, starting later this year, you, your friends and family, your congregation and more, will be asked to return to the polls to pick your local, state, and federally-elected officials. These people are entrusted with maintaining peace, safety, and prosperity in America, so we will be bringing you a whole new host of voter guides and information on the candidates you can pick to shape your future.
While many, like Mamdani, will say things like “tax the rich,” maybe you should ask yourself if you feel that the government is better at spending your money than you are? Others may promise things they simply cannot deliver on, like ending capitalism. The decision is up to you on who you feel best represents your interests and values. We are here to do the research and get you the information you need. (RELATED: Seattle Mayor Appears To Blame Christians For Being Violently Attacked)
These smaller, local-level elections may seem far away, but their influence is universal thanks to the internet. If anti-capitalists, anti-Christians see people like themselves winning elections in major cities, what will stop them from coming to your neighborhood? The answer is simple: you.
Do You Know How Your Pastor Feels About Politics?
Your Sunday service doesn’t have to be political, but your day-to-day life outside of His four walls will always be dictated — in large part — by your elected officials. Ignorance of politics is like handing over control of your life to the greediest, most power-hungry serpent in the room. When we Use Our Voice, we bring a more Biblical worldview to our nation.
We’re in the middle of a Great American Revival, and we know there are so many incredible stories of faith being shielded by the corporate mainstream news media. Please tell us your great stories of faith today as we want to start sharing them — anonymously or as directed. Email [email protected] to get involved today.
Contact Your Reps To Protect America’s Future
It seems like every time we at Million Voices speak to lawmakers and their teams, they all tell us the same thing: if just 10 people in their district write them letters about issues that matter to them, they know they have a serious crisis on their hands. A thousand people could message that same lawmaker via email or social media, and it would mean nothing. But hand-written, or even printed and signed letters, will make your politicians take action (if they really care about your vote, that is).
Contacting your representatives should be easy, but there are myriad ways they can ignore your messages. That’s where we come in.
Yes, Million Voices helps you with voter guides. Yes, we send letters from YOU directly to your elected officials because it’s the only way to guarantee they’ll listen to you. Yes, we publish data, articles, text messages, and help bridge the gap between education and civic action. But what do you want? Tell us today.
We want to make YOU the hero of our American story by giving you the tools you need to make a difference, from your local, state, all the way up to the federal level.
Join us in our mission to advocate for religious freedom, support fair and secure elections, and uphold the values that this great nation was built upon. Tell us what you want from the next four years, and we will fight to make it a reality … again!
