More Than 2,000 Students Commit To Jesus In U-Hauls At Campus Revival, Says Group

Some 2,000 students apparently gave their lives to Christ at an Ohio State University event in mid-February, according to reports from attendees and organizers.

An estimated 6,500 students gathered at OSU on Feb. 18 to attend the Unite US revival. Attendees battled freezing temperatures, which apparently dropped down to the teens. A reported 2,000 or more students were baptized during the course of events, most in the back of U-Haul trucks.

“”We’ve been in awe of how God has already been moving on this campus over the past year, and He met us here again tonight,” organizers said in a social media post. “Over 6,500 students gathered in The Schott to lift the name of Jesus and almost 2,000 responded to the altar call – experiencing the freedom only He can bring.” (BIG NEWS: One State Could Decide America’s Entire Future In 2025 Should Voters Refuse To Act)

A similar event took place at the University of Kentucky earlier in the month, where an additional 2,000 or more students were baptized. Some reports suggest 8,000 or more students took part in the revival. The group now heads to Purdue University in Indiana on March 5. Thus far, an estimated 70,000 college students have been reached by Unite US.

In 2024 alone, 11 major U.S. universities and colleges “saw God working in their midst,” Charisma reports. These include:
