Newsom Appears To Stealth Launch Campaign For Presidency

California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom appeared to stealth launch his campaign for presidency — or at least the DNC nomination — in July in South Carolina.

Newsom took part in a two-day tour of South Carolina last week, calling upon rural voters to exercise so-called “moral authority” in standing up to President Donald Trump in the 2026 midterm elections, according to The Associated Press.

“But more than that, Newsom’s foray into the state, which for years has held one of the earliest voting contests on the Democratic presidential primary calendar, serves as a strong signal that the governor of the most populous state is eyeing a 2028 White House bid,” the AP added, and we could not agree more. A handful of other prospective 2028 candidates have also recently campaigned in South Carolina — the only notable of whom was Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz who famously ran with failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris (another California Democrat).

“I think it’s really important for Democrats that we spend time in parts of our states, parts of our country, that frankly, we haven’t spent enough time in, and so that’s why I’m here,” Newsom said, according to the outlet.

The pro-choice, pro-Planned Parenthood, governor — branded “viciously anti-Christian” by a recent in-depth analysis of all of his work and statements — then claimed he was “spellbound” by a sermon at a gathering attended by 2,500 AME bishops. We pray this means the Gov. has found Christ and will repent for his support of ending the lives of the unborn. Time will tell.

Newsom’s Moral Authority

Newsom has overseen a drastic shift in the definition of “moral authority” in his home state of California. Under his leadership, countless mentally ill and drug addicted Americans have died on his broken sideways thanks to the completely unmitigated “homeless” and fentanyl crises — perpetuated by his open southern borders and the flood of largely Chinese-made fentanyl, trafficked by cartels and members of the Chinese Communist Party alike. Newsom has also taken billions of dollars from American taxpayers — including you, the wonderful reader of this article — to “fix” this crisis. It has not been fixed, not even a little bit.

Oh, wait, except for that one time the Chinese Communist Party came to town — he managed to clean up San Francisco then, but not for the residents and citizens of his state. He didn’t care enough to clean up, or even help the poor souls on his streets, other than when the Chinese came to visit.

Newsom is also extremely pro-allowing mentally ill young men to compete in women and girl’s sports — something he has consistently said he supports but has also lied about when the time suits. (RELATED: California Found To Have Violated Title IX By Discriminating Against Women And Girls)

And let us not forget that this is the same man who oversaw the mass release of violent criminals back into California’s community. Why did he do this? Because, why not?
