Pastor Greg Laurie On Iran’s Attack

Pastor Greg Laurie delivered a sermon Sunday titled “The Road Less Travelled,” in which he said that Iran’s attacks against Israel are a Biblical sign.

“Iran has never openly attacked Israel,” Laurie told his congregation. Iran has typically attacked Israel using terrorist proxies such as Hezbollah and Hamas, the Christian Post noted. “The Bible also says anti-Semitism would grow stronger in the end times. That, too, is happening. And the Bible says a large force from the north of Israel would attack here. And that force is identified as Magog. Many scholars believe Magog is Russia,” he continued.

“No one can say that with absolute certainty, but it seems likely. But we do know that one of the allies that marches with Magog against Israel is Persia. Persia is Iran.” However, Laurie added that this “doesn’t mean what’s happening will lead to the scenario we read about in Ezekiel 38. Not necessarily. Pray For Israel, Don’t Freak Out

The Bible tells us always to pray for Israel. Laurie noted that most of the missiles and drones sent by Iran in the most recent attack were shot down. “Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Laurie added that now is the time to reaffirm your faith and understand that Biblical prophecies are playing out. This means redemption is near, which is a good thing — so don’t “freak out.”
