Pause to Praise in Divine Adoration

Nov 9, 2023

“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker” (Psalm 95:6).

In the busyness of our lives, it is so important to pause gently to praise the Lord. Let us seek Him in this moment of gratitude and love for our precious Savior.

Jesus,

In the stillness of this time, we have with You, we praise You today.

We see Your faithfulness—Your never-ending mercy.

You’re the King who bled and died for us.

Through this vastly busy life, we lead, You are so worthy of our time.

You are our risen King and there is no one like You, Lord.

We surrender to You because You’re so worthy!

Your name is glorified in our hearts and lives.

Our wonderful, beautiful, Savior, there is no one like You!

We can never praise You enough for all that You have done for us.

We open our hearts to You now—for all eternity.

May Your love flow through us and out into this world as a beacon of light for You.

As the heavens praise Your wonders, Lord, so will we.

The myriads of angels praise You, and so will we.

You are our humble and wounded King.

You are Lord of all heaven and earth.

We connect with You now. We ask for forgiveness now.

We clear the air between us and surrender our burdens and sins to You.

We accept You now.

Your endless praise we give.

Thank You, Lord.

Thank You, Lord.

And as we end this moment of adoration, let us carry this spirit of divine gratitude and praise into every moment of our lives, because you, O Lord, are truly worthy of our ceaseless worship and love. Amen.

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done” (Psalm 105:1).

“Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago” (Isaiah 25:1).

“Because your love is better than life my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands” (Psalm 63:3-4).

A Comforting Closure

In every breath we take, in every heartbeat, may we forever echo the words, “Thank You, Lord” —for His love is the sweetest melody that our souls will ever sing.
