Pro-Life Leaders Share Thoughts On Kamala Harris Presidency

The Christian Post collected the reactions from a series of faith leaders after President Joe Biden ended his presidential candidacy via social media before endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in his place.

Concerns seem to focus on Harris’ endless work in supporting abortion clinics and pushing for pro-choice policies. Live Action founder and president Lila Rose accused Harris of ” unfairly prosecuting pro-life activists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress,” the outlet stated. “As VP, she’s continued her crusade against pro-life Americans & the preborn,” Rose noted. “A Harris presidency would be disastrous for human rights.”

“With Kamala likely as the next Democratic Presidential Candidate, we can expect nothing less than abortion extremism through all nine months, and after birth, for any reason,” Hawkins added. “The Pro-Life Generation has been following her around on her abortion-loving campus tour all year, and we know there is nothing she is more committed to than ending the lives of innocent babies & putting mothers’ and minors’ lives at risk with access to deadly Chemical Abortion Pills and surgical abortions.”

Warnings Ahead of November

Life Training Institute president Scott Klusendorf said Sunday that beating Harris will “not be a cake walk.” And there’s more he thinks we should worry about.

“The economy alone won’t beat her. Her inability to escape word salads and say anything that is remotely coherent won’t beat her. Her refusal to address the border won’t beat her,” he added. “Recall the 2022 midterms? She will primarily run on abortion, which is a winning issue for her. And it will resonate for many citizens convinced that if they do not have a right to kill their own offspring, they have no rights at all.”

Ignoring Women’s Real Needs?

“Harris is so committed to abortion that she can’t see anything else — including the developmental stages of children before birth or the real needs of women,” said Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America president Marjorie Dannenfelser said of Harris.

“While Joe Biden has trouble saying the word abortion, Kamala Harris shouts it,” she also stated. “In contrast, President Trump, JD Vance, and the GOP reject the Democrat attempt to impose abortion on-demand across all 50 states and support the right of states to place limits on abortion.
