Russell Brand, Jordan Peterson Lead 25,000 In Lord’s Prayer

Footage shared on social media in late September showed comedian Russell Brand and prominent thought leader and psychologist Jordan Peterson leading a crowd of 25,000 people in the Lord’s Prayer.

The now-viral video was captured at the Rescue the Republic Rally in Washington D.C. Along with Brand and Peterson, thought leaders from across the political spectrum joined the rally, including Dave Rubin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Bret Weinstein, Charlie Kirk, Matt Taibbi, according to a video shared by Rubin. At some point in the proceedings, Brand and Peterson came together on stage, leading the crowd of an estimated 25,000 people in the Lord’s Prayer, as seen in a video shared widely across social media.

The purpose of the rally was to “defend and celebrate the values and principles that have made America and the West the freest, fairest and most productive society the world has ever known,” according to the official rally website. The purpose of the rally was to share values based upon freedom of speech, assembly, and religion, rights to privacy, to create a color-blind society, with property rights, informed consent, and equal protection under the law.
