‘She Let The Holy Spirit Cook’: Gen Z Bible Goes Viral
Happy Saturday, everyone!
Here at Million Voices, we don’t usually post new articles on weekends. We know how important these two days are to all of us. One of our writers even says: “news is mostly pretty intense right now; everyone needs a day off.”
With the 2024 election just days away, tensions are high. In these times of human panic, it is easy to forget why we are all here. So many people search endlessly for His purpose within the chaos, only to realize it is within them all along. That’s why we wanted to share something with you that really helped us this week.
The Gen Z Bible
Before proceeding, we highly recommend reading this passage out loud to people you love. If you really want to laugh, read this passage with your kids. We’re sure they’ll appreciate it. While it might not be for everyone, it has been thoroughly triple-checked both by us and The Chanted (who shared the original video we came across) to ensure it aligns perfectly with His Word … it just might not sound like most of us remember.
Luke 1, according to Gen Z:
“Mary was a ‘pick me’ girl for God and was simping for him in prayer when the Angel Gabriel appeared to her and said ‘Ayo, you’re a real one, and Top G is feeling you.’ But she thought his compliment was sus and gave him the side eye. So he said, ‘Babygirl, chill. God sent me to tell you you’ve passed his vibe check and low key he wants you to have the main character. You’d name Him Jesus and they will say, ‘HE’S HIM.””
“She said, ‘How can this be since I promised him my body count will always be zero. Respectfully.'”
“He said, ‘this ain’t about cuffing season, for the Holy Spirit will live rent free in you and your boy Jesus will be a divine bro. Beside, your cousin Elizabeth is with child; she who is already older than a boomer and whose husband is way past beekeeping age.’ So Mary said, ‘Bet.” Gabriel left her on read and she let the Holy Spirit cook.” (WATCH the video on Instagram)
Modern Jesus Revolution?
Can you feel it? His power is flowing over all of us. But He seems to be igniting the youth in a way we’ve not seen since the Summer of Love. (LEARN MORE: Hundreds Gather, Dozens Baptized At Ohio Revival Event)
The more we turn future generations to Christ, the faster we can act to protect this beautiful world of ours. While many of us might not take the Gen Z Bible seriously, like any accurate translation of His Word, it is Good.
