“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed” (Isaiah 61:1).
The most important thing we will ever do is tell other people about Jesus. The great news is the Holy Spirit will give us the courage to speak boldly, pray boldly, and let our passion for Jesus bring light to a dark world. Acts 4:31 says that when the early church prayed and gathered together, they were shaken and filled with the Holy Spirit. They continued to speak God’s word with BOLDNESS! We must also be shaken for Christ and have that same boldness right now.
This does not mean we have to be aggressive to be effective. We speak truth in LOVE. We speak JESUS! Sharing God’s love with the world is as easy as sharing how His promises and His goodness have changed our own lives. Sharing our own experiences is a great way to show people who HE is. When we speak Jesus to the world with reckless abandon and unrestrained passion, people are changed—and when people are changed, our world follows. THAT is how we show a lost and dying world the saving love of Christ!

Prayer: Father God, we thank You for the opportunity to spread Your word and the love of Jesus. Help us be humble and have courage to stand for You and not be silenced by dissenting voices that try to drown us out. Let the Holy Spirit speak through us and give us the right words to say.
