Star of “Sabrina The Teenage Witch” Melissa Joan Hart is on a mission to speak out publicly about her faith, particularly since she found herself terrifyingly close to the Covenant School shooting in Nashville.
Hart opened up about her faith back in 2019, saying how important her Bible studies are, and how she’s always seeking to grow closer in her relationship to God, according to CBN. “I’m a Christian, I believe that Jesus is my savior. I believe in God and I believe in Jesus as His son,” she said during an interview with Paula Faris.
Despite being raised Catholic, Hart is part of the Presbyterian community. And her messages on overcoming darkness are inspiring. Just check out this interview she did with the team behind “Jesus Revolution.”
‘This Is A Jesus Home’
“When I’m in my house and I’m afraid if I’m by myself or my husband’s asleep before me, and I get afraid and I’m walking the halls and you just get that creepy feeling like goosebumps up your back like something’s not right, I just say out loud, you know, ‘This is a Jesus home, Satan’s not welcome here, get out, this is a home for Jesus,'” she explained. “Immediately… you feel that darkness go away.”
“One of the great things that I’ve learned is that darkness is just the absence of light and without Jesus you just have this darkness and then Jesus is the light… so not having Jesus in your life just leaves this void,” she noted.
