‘SWATTED’: Multiple Conservative Celebs Targeted By Fake 911 Calls

Multiple conservative celebrities were victims of “swatting” attacks in the last week (mid-March), threatening their lives, the lives of their family, and those in law enforcement.
Nationally syndicated radio host Joe Pags was one of the first victims in a recent spate of “SWATTING” attacks, predominantly targeting pro-conservative American voices. “Swatting” is a term used to describe those who call in a fake 911 call, claiming a horrific crime is taking place that would typically require a SWAT response from local law enforcement.
“At 2:35 AM on Wednesday March 12th, Pags was alerted by a security notification on his phone. Checking his outdoor camera, he saw a chilling sight—an armed man at his front door. In that moment, his adrenaline kicked in. Thinking quickly, he called 911, where the operator confirmed his fears—someone had made a fake report, triggering the heavy police response,” reads an article on Pags’ website.
Along with Pags, conservative influencers and thought leaders Shawn Farash, Gunther Eagleman, Chase Geiser, Matt Van Swol, and podcaster Nick Sortor’s family members were also swatted in the coming days. Farash also received multiple pizza deliveries to his home. (MEDIA NEWS: Vince Coglianese Takes Over Rush Limbaugh, Dan Bongino’s National Radio Show Time Slot)
Thankfully, no one was injured during the incidents. “This is nothing short of attempted murder. They wanted the police to kill my father,” Sortor wrote on social media, according to Fox News.
“This is literal f—ing terrorism. And the FBI should treat it as such,” Sortor added.
Law Enforcement Response

“Having spent over 40 years in law enforcement, I’ve seen firsthand how swatting is a reckless and dangerous action that not only puts innocent lives at risk but wastes critical resources,” Republican Mississippi Rep. Mike Ezell said in January when introducing a bipartisan bill against those who make swatting calls, Fox added.
“Local and state law enforcement agencies are forced to divert their time, energy, and taxpayer dollars to respond to these false calls, taking them away from real emergencies. As someone who has been on the front lines, I understand the toll this takes on our officers and communities. That’s why I am proud to help introduce the Preserving Safe Communities by Ending Swatting Act — a vital step in protecting both our law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.” (BIG NEWS: Linda McMahon Shares ‘Final Mission’ For Dept. “Multiple conservative influencers and pundits have had their homes swatted in the past several days,” he wrote. “This is an extremely dangerous form of political terrorism. It’s liable to get somebody killed, and it must end now,” Republican Texas Rep. Brandon Gill said as the “proud” cosponsor of the bill.
