“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13).
“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Our faith in God is not dependent on emotions, probabilities, or improbabilities of outcomes. Our faith rests on His Word alone. Scripture is the most trusted source of truth— We can KNOW that if God says it, it IS absolute truth! His Word is flawless, and every part has a purpose. “The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times” (Psalm 12:6).
God’s Word is timeless… it will never be outdated, nor will it lose its worth. What He says will ALWAYS come to pass. “The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the Word of our God stands forever” (Isaiah 40:8). The prophesy and encouragement of the Old Testament points to our desperate need for a Savior, foreshadowing God’s plan of salvation for mankind through Jesus—including details of His birth, His ministry, and His death fully revealed in the New Testament. The scriptures speak of God’s faithfulness and His love. His Word frees us from sin’s entrapments, offering peace and grace to all who will listen and believe.
Guiding Points:
Call to Action: Do you believe God’s Word is absolute truth? It is fresh for you today! God will keep revealing new aspects of His Word that will be applicable to every season. Believe, trust Him, and apply His Word to your hearts and lives!
“In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and His life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it” (John 1:1-5).
“Make them holy by Your truth; teach them Your Word, which is truth” (John 17:17).
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work” (2 Timothy 3.16-17).
Prayer: Father God, we praise Your holy name today! Help us to apply Your Word to our lives. Use it to mold and shape us into the people You made us to be. We give You all the glory! In Your name, we pray, Amen!
Final Thought: Our hearts are at peace when we take God at His Word.
