The Texas Rangers won the World Series for the first time in history after beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0, Wednesday, with many players thanking God for their success.
“Anyone that interviews me or gives me an opportunity to speak, God’s going to receive the glory,” Rangers coach Tony Beasley said of the win, according to CBN. “This is just an unbelievable experience,” rookie Evan Carter told the MLB Network following the game. “What a group of guys to experience it with. I’m blessed to be here. It’s unbelievable…what a dream come true.”
“Excitement, joy, all of it,” fellow rookie Josh Jung said Wednesday night. “I can’t even process all of the emotions. It’s just, ‘Wow, we did it.'” (LEARN MORE: Watch And Be Inspired By Asbury Revival’s Inter-Denominational Phenomenon)

Jung calls himself a “competitor for Christ” in his online biographies. “I gave my life to Christ my freshman year of high school, and then my freshman year of college was the first time I took that step of a personal journey with Him,” Jung told one outlet in 2020. “My three years in college were awesome in many ways, but the thing that really hit home with me is the memories from sharing my story with God to others.”
Carter’s family raised him with Christ, and he has consistently thanked Jesus for this success.

Awakenings throughout history have never been defined as a single moment in time. There is never one single day that changes the course of our future forever. A Great Awakening takes long-term collective action and consciousness to create, and that is what we are going through today.
