Trump Promises America The Greatest Birthday Party Ever

President-elect Donald Trump promised America a huge 250th birthday party more than a year ago, and it sounds like that promise is holding true as of Nov. 2024!

Trump pledged to honor the founding of the U.S. in 1776 with a one-year celebration of 250 years, a “Salute to America 250,” according to a statement posted by Trump in May 2023. “Three years from now, the United States will celebrate the biggest and most important milestone in our country’s history — 250 years of American Independence,” Trump said in a video shared on the site. “That’s why as a nation, we should be preparing for the most spectacular birthday party. We want to make it the best of all time.”

Trump’s Plan For The Big Day

Trump is inviting leaders and citizens from around the globe to visit our great nation, as well as asking “America’s courageous religious communities to pray for our great nation.” (READ: Trump’s Promises To America: How To Hold Him Accountable)

“My hope is that the amazing people of IOWA will work with my administration to open up the legendary Iowa state fairgrounds to host the Great American State Fair and welcome millions and millions of visitors from around the world to the heartland of America for this special one-time festival,” it appears the President said in the statement.

The list of festivities sounds extensive, starting on Memorial Day 2025 to July 4th, 2026. Part of the process will include an Executive Order on Day One to bring back the National Garden of American Heroes, and commissioning artists for the first 100 new statues. Major sporting contests will also be held around the country for high school athletes.

Trump is also asking “Americans to come together and rededicate ourselves as one nation under God as we chart a course toward the next 250 years of American history.” (READ: YouTube/Google Censors Biden’s Hateful Words Pre-Election)

Iowa Ready

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds said Thursday (Nov. 7) that the state is ready to be the main host location for the 250th extravaganza, which will take place at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. “We know the Iowa State Fair is the best fair in the country! In Iowa, we dream big, and we stand ready to host the Great American State Fair!”

“The GREATEST fair of all time for the greatest nation on earth! And nobody knows how to do a fair like Iowa. Mr. President-elect, the people of Iowa are ready to make history with you once again!” Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird said on X.
