Trump’s Bold Statement On Parental Rights, School Boards

Former President Donald Trump told Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice on August 30, 2024, that he is pro-parental rights, while likening school boards to dictatorships.

“The parents truly love the kids,” Trump told the audience. “Some of these people on the boards, I think they don’t like the kids very much. … You have to give the rights back to the parents.”

Trump confirmed that he is pro-school vouchers, which allow children to gain high quality education outside of the public school system through private school tuition, The Christian Post reported. He also criticized Kamala Harris’s vice presidential pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, over his work pushing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender sexual ideologies (LGBT) within schools, as well as providing “gender affirming care” — also known as gender mutilation surgeries.

Trump said he opposes the inclusion of “gender identity discussions in school curricula,” the outlet reported. “All of these things we’re talking about, no men in women’s sports, no gender operation, I mean … it’s these operations, it’s crazy,” he continued. “Everyone’s afraid to talk about it.” (REMEMBER: Kamala Wants Police Out Of Schools)

“It’s also very demeaning to women,” Trump added. “I don’t know how they get away with it.”
