Tucker Carlson Gives Pro-USA Speech At … Kid Rock Show?!

Host of his self-titled shows and co-founder of the Daily Caller Tucker Carlson surprised fans in early April as the opener for Kid Rock at his shows at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana.

More than 20,000 fans went along to see Kid Rock and a whole host of other huge names, but Tucker was the one who grabbed headlines with his opening remarks. “You may be asking, ‘What am I doing here,” Tucker told fans, according to Taste of Country. “And you know, I don’t really know.”

Footage of the speech was shared on social media. “The country they tell me about on the internet is [expletive] up. The country that I experience when I walk through this crowd, or when I wake up in my town of 100 people… is a beautiful country.”

Tucker’s comments went viral online, with seemingly every generation of Americans finding some semblance of understanding in his concerns. “As I’m walking out [to the rig], this chick gets right in my face. She’s got two nose rings, a cross necklace, and a Trump bracelet. And she looks at me right in the face, and she goes, ‘Ahhhhh!’ And she said, ‘I love you.’ And I said, ‘I love you, too.’ And I meant it. And I thought, That’s the America that I know. A little weird, slightly crazy, full of love, and beautiful. And that describes the man I’m here to introduce,” he continued.

Pop Culture Gets Political

“Can you put a price on living free in the last free country? So let me tell you, my fellow Americans, what we’ve got. All gathered here tonight are free people united by our love of country and under God,” Tucker continued. “And in the name of that country and that God, we’re here to celebrate a party that will not stop.
