Unearthing Your Divine Purpose: A Journey Within “You were chosen…so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you” (1 Peter 2:9).
God has a plan and it includes you. Every event, every moment of your life is not in vain. You are where you are because God intended it that way. Whatever is ahead, God is already there, preparing your path.
Don’t shy away from your past or your experiences, because God can use them to bring glory to His name as you witness to others. Remember, God never wastes a hurt. What you’ve gone through, the places you’ve been, are all part of your unique story that others can learn from. Your testimony can give others the strength to persevere through their struggles.
God chose you, equipping you with unique talents and abilities that you can use to benefit others. In turn, others are also equipped to benefit you. Jesus glorified God by finishing His mission. God loves you and has a special purpose for you, too.
Your Call to Action
Embrace the purpose for which you were created. Let those around you witness the power of God working through you as you act on the talents that God has given you. There is a world out there waiting to be blessed by your unique gifts.
“You belong to Him who was raised from the dead in order that we might bear fruit for God” (Romans 7:4).
“I chose you before I formed you in the womb, I set you apart before you were born” (Jeremiah 1:5).
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
Prayer
Father God, thank You for our journey. Not every part has been easy, but we know you have been here every step of the way. Continue to help us grow spiritually, as we follow You. Let us use our circumstances to be witnesses for You to those who need you. In Your name, we pray, Amen.
