What a Friend We Have in Jesus
“But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness” (Psalm 86:15).
Jesus is the most loyal friend we will ever have. When we fail, He forgives. When we feel uncertain, He prompts us to trust Him. When we need a fresh start, He provides it. His love endures FOREVER, not just for today, but tomorrow and every day after (Psalm 100:5).
Nothing we can do will make God stop loving us. “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).
God sent His beloved Son to bear our sins on the cross so that we could live in righteousness. By His wounds, we are HEALED of EVERYTHING we have ever done when we accept His gift of salvation, allowing Jesus to be the Lord of our lives and change our hearts.

Prayer: Father God, we praise Your holy name! You are the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning, and the End. Without Your breath of life in us, we have no life. We ask, Lord, that You forgive us of our sins. We accept Your gift of salvation, asking Jesus to be Lord of our hearts and lives—changing us and making us new in You. We thank You for all You do! In the precious name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!
