Three American troops were killed and dozens injured during an overnight drone strike Sunday in northeast Jordan, near the Syrian border.

President Joe Biden asked for a moment of silence on Sunday while appearing at a South Carolina Baptist church, following the deaths of three troops in Jordan, Newsmax reported. “We had a tough day last night in the Middle East. We lost three brave souls in an attack on one of our bases,” the president said, adding, “and we shall respond.”

Biden was not asked about why he didn’t do the same following the deaths of a number of U.S. troops following his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. (LEARN MORE: Biden Ignores Christian Massacres For 3rd Year In A Row)

The attack was allegedly backed by Iran and carried out by militias. These are apparently the first U.S. casualties in the region since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. The war has seen months of drone strikes and other attacks by militias and other terror organizations and appears to be ramping up.

Praying For Those We Lost

“The drone attack on a U.S. Military Installation in Jordan, killing 3 American Servicemembers, and wounding many more, marks a horrible day for America. My most profound sympathies go to the Families of the Brave Servicemembers we have lost. I ask all Americans to join me in praying for those who have been wounded,” former President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This brazen attack on the United States is yet another horrific and tragic consequence of Joe Biden’s weakness and surrender.” (LEARN MORE: Pastor Greg Laurie Speaks of Biblical Prophecy Fulfillment Over Israel-Hamas War)

“Three years ago, Iran was weak, broke, and totally under control. Thanks to my Maximum Pressure policy, the Iranian Regime could barely scrape two dollars together to fund their terrorist proxies. Then Joe Biden came in and gave Iran billions of dollars, which the Regime has used to spread bloodshed and carnage throughout the Middle East,” Trump continued.

No Group Claims Responsibility

Typically, a terrorist organization or militia group will claim attacks against U.S. forces, particularly those in which Americans are killed. But at this time, no group or individual has been identified as the source of the violence. (LEARN MORE: Biden-Harris Campaign Spends $25 Million On Pro-Abortion Ads)

Still, the Biden Administration is blaming Iran for the attacks. And Republicans are pushing for retaliation against the nation for their part in the attacks. But many non-politicians, people who don’t earn money during the hatred of war, are calling any type of immediate response a very dangerous precedent, according to Politico.

Any immediate and violent attack against Iran could easily insight global war that could easily see ground movement here in the U.S. Thanks to the open border crisis, millions of potential terrorists have walked into America under the Biden Administration. Who do you think these people would side with when asked to choose between Iran and America?
