President Joe Biden invited the 2023 Stanley Cup winner, Vegas Golden Knights, to the White House, on Monday, and things didn’t quite go as smoothly as Democrats probably hoped.

After the traditional ceremony of meeting the athletes, Biden went off script with a series of strange comments. The official White House transcript shows Biden said, “Just one promise. Threat of Divorce

“Just one promise. Don’t get the Philadelphia Eagles to leave and go. ’Cause I’ll get divorced if that happens,” Biden said. “I married a Philly girl and – and – It’s a long story.” While its common for everyone to make silly mistakes, this one seemed like a biggie for the President.
