Clinton Demands Criminal Charges Over Words She Dislikes
Twice failed presidential candidates Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that people who engage in types of free speech that she feels “parrot Russian propaganda” should be “civilly” or even “criminally charged.”
Clinton made the statements in conversation with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow when asked about the Biden-Harris administration’s efforts to counter alleged interference by Russia in the 2024 presidential election, according to the Washington Stand. The former First Lady claimed that Republican congressmen were Russian stooges, without offering any specifics or evidence. (LEARN MORE: Former President Won’t Say Who He Is Voting For: REPORT)
“We know from what even Republicans have said, the chairs of the Intelligence Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee and other Republicans who are currently in office have said, that Republicans go to the floor of the Congress, and they parrot Russian talking points,” Clinton stated.
Censorship Of Free Speech
“I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda, and whether they should be civilly or even in some cases, criminally charged, is something that would be a better deterrence,” she continued, essentially suggesting that anyone who says anything that she doesn’t like should potentially go to jail for their actions.
Again, Clinton gave no specifics within her statement on how she defines “Russian propaganda.” (LEARN MORE: Democrats Accused Of ‘Riding’ Gas Prices Into November)
In recent days, many notable American leaders have come forward to ask the Biden-Harris administration to not give Ukraine the go-ahead to use long-range weapons, supplied by America, on targets deep within Russia. The act would be seen as an escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian war and direct involvement by America and our allies, potentially leading to World War III. It’s unclear whether Clinton is as concerned about this as she is about people saying things she doesn’t like that she feels is Russian propaganda.
