Former President Won’t Say Who He Is Voting For: REPORT
Former President George W. Bush won’t admit publicly who he is supporting or voting for in the November 2024 elections.
When asked by NBC News if he or former First Lady Laura Bush would say who they were endorsing for president, the former president’s office simply said, “No.”
“President Bush retired from presidential politics years ago,” the office noted. Bush has publicly endorsed candidates since retiring from politics. As former President Donald Trump does not like sending American troops into pointless wars, which is how most arms manufacturers make money, this may be influencing Cheney’s endorsement of Harris.
Is Cheney Scared Of Trump?
“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” Cheney said in a statement. “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. Under Cheney’s leadership, America invaded Iraq after another country attacked U.S. soil on September 11, 2001. His company, Halliburton, made billions of dollars throughout the war in Iraq, amongst others. Harris said she was “honored” to have Cheney’s endorsement.
