Dennis Quaid Gives Preview Of ‘Reagan’

Actor Dennis Quaid joined CBN News on Thursday to give a sneak peek of his upcoming role as President Ronald Reagan.

Quaid truly loves his work, that is easy to tell from his most recent interview with CBN News. The actor sat down to discuss his storied career that has led him to a place where he seems truly at peace. In the last few years, he’s starred in a series of huge movies, and television series, and even hit the top of the charts with a Christian album.

His next, and probably biggest project, is “Reagan.” The movie will tell the story of Reagan’s life from his childhood to his time in the Oval Office, according to IMDB. ‘Getting The Voice’

One of the hardest parts was getting Reagan’s iconic voice correct for the audience. He joked that everyone has their own Reagan impression, so he just seemed to want to make his workout.

Quaid also noted that Reagan was his “favorite president,” and the first one he really voted for. “And so I had to overcome that to play because you want to get into who somebody was and Reagan was, in a way, unknowable,” he continued. “Reagan” will hit theaters on August 30.
