Female Mass Shooters & The Rise In Transgenderism

Family Research Council (FRC) president Tony Perkins hosted FRC director of the Center for Family Studies Dr. Jennifer Bauwens on his show “Washington Watch” in February, where they discussed the rise of female mass shooters and how this relates to the rise of transgenderism.

“This is an alarming trend,” Bauwens told Perkins. “that we’re seeing these young women who don’t fit the profile … commit these heinous acts.” The conversation came just days after a 36-year-old woman opened fire at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, noted the Washington Stand. The outlet further references the Covenant School shooting, which was carried out by a 28-year-old woman, as well as shootings in Colorado and Maryland, where all shooters were female but identified as transgender.

“A good researcher would say, ‘What is going on here? And why is it that these women are also connected in some way to the transgender ideology?'” Bauwens continued. More Than Mental Health Issues?

“You have to wonder, was there more going on than just her baseline mental health distress?” Bauwens questioned. Almost all those women who carried out mass shootings allegedly suffered from additional mental distress beyond believing they were born the wrong gender. Bauwens noted that if “there’s already mental health distress, and now you’re going to throw the wild card of hormones into the mix … it’s a recipe for disaster.” (LEARN MORE: Utah Professor’s Bizarre Response To Child Abuse)

“Take a woman and you pump her full of testosterone … Now she’s having to socially adjust to the fact that her body is changing to look more like a male,” she said. “That’s introducing all kinds of other mental health issues with the possibility of greater levels of bullying, etc … [she will also] have all these new emotions to deal with.”
